So June… I feel like I got a new Instagram groove going. I don’t know if it’ll work for growth yet, because I think I’m still weeding out the followers who aren’t here for all the activism I’m posting. And that’s fine. I don’t want them as followers. I gain as many new followers as I lose, so I’m breaking even for the most part right now. But I have a schedule, and motivation, so I’m good with that. Besides, I’m fairly sure the people unfollowing are doing so because I’m posting too much about BLM, and I don’t want them following me. I’m not stopping.
I’m having a blast on tik tok. I’m not thriving there by any means. Most of my videos tank, I’m fairly sure I get shadow banned at least twice a week, but I love the creators I’ve found there, and I love making videos. It’s inspired me to get into body painting which has been on my to do list for years, and has motivated me to start working on Keyleth again. These are all positive things, so I’m gonna stick with it.
July Goals: continue my schedule on Instagram, continue body painting, continue tik tok, and finish Keyleth. I also want to comment more on other cosplayers content. I always feel weird cause I can never think of anything clever, so my comment is usually “omg amazing cosplay” or something else equally lame… But then I thought about what it feels like to receive that comment. Those comments make my day! So I’m going to start commenting more.
